Deleting your data
Last updated · 15 October 2026
You can have your data removed from The POD Builder at any time. There are several ways, and they do different things.
Delete things yourself
In your workspace you can delete a film, a person or product, a document or an upload whenever you like. Deleting a film deletes its storyboard, its clips and its reference video with it.
What deletes itself
Some things go without your asking. Exports expire 30 days after they are made. Takes you did not use are deleted 60 days after the film is finished. Stills of other people in a reference video are deleted when you approve your storyboard, or after 14 days.
Withdraw a person's face or voice
If you appear in a workspace's films and no longer agree, ask that workspace to remove you, or write to privacy@thepodbuilder.com saying which workspace it is. We will delete your photos and your cloned voice, and they will not be used again.
Delete your account
Email privacy@thepodbuilder.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account".
If you are a member of a workspace you do not own, we delete your account and remove you from the workspace. What you made there belongs to the workspace and stays in it.
Delete a whole workspace
The owner of a workspace can ask for it to be deleted: email privacy@thepodbuilder.com from the owner's address with the subject "Delete my workspace".
We will delete the workspace and everything in it, for every member — your business information, documents, people and products, voices, uploads, films, exports and usage records — within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What stays
Three things, and only these. Payment records are kept by Whop, and records we are required by law to keep, such as invoices, are kept for as long as the law requires and used for nothing else. A short record that the deletion happened — the workspace's name, when it was deleted, and its payment reference — is kept so we can prove it was done. And entries in our internal audit log recording that an administrator accessed an account are kept, because a log that can be deleted by the person it records is not an audit log.
If you are not sure
Write to privacy@thepodbuilder.com and ask. We would rather explain than have you guess.
